We were referred to these clients by our long-standing collaborators, Fox Hill Builders. We worked with the builder and the clients for this new construction custom home design.
The clients needed guidance on everything from selecting the hard finishes that go into building a house, to the soft touches that make it a home.
The couple was downsizing to a waterfront community and wanted to incorporate their three favorite, and differing design styles: traditional, contemporary, and coastal. The key was ensuring that no one style competed with the others or stole the spotlight in the design.
We took on this challenging and rewarding custom home design as we incorporated their love of contemporary and coastal into each room in the space.
With clean lines and contemporary edging, the kitchen is a great example of how we were able to seamlessly fuse their styles together. In this breathtaking kitchen, you’ll be awed and welcomed at the same time as we selected traditional millwork details in the cabinetry that warm up the space and make it feel like home.
We selected simple molding details to give this a traditionally luxurious feel with a more contemporary approach.
This couple was a delight to work with for this custom home design and build and loved being actively engaged in the decision-making process as we guided them every step of the way.
They say opposites attract and this fulfilling project was proof that even with differing style preferences, they don’t need to compete or clash.
They LOVE their new space and look forward to coming home at the end of every well-lived day.
